RCCG Folkestone is a multicultural Church with a clear sense of prayer and worship with strong emphasis on community with the understanding of what it means to be God's family through God’s love. It is a dynamic church with unique set of people with the heart of God longing to reach out to the community and fulfil the calling and commandment of God (Go ye into the world and make disciples of all)
Our desire is to see the Kingdom of God come on earth and to see waves of revival in our town city and nation. We aim to provide a welcoming and loving environment for Christians and non-Christians alike and for all ages and all backgrounds to join together in this journey as we learn and grow in exploring more about what it means to live life to its fullest through God’s love.
We are committed to practical evangelism and personal discipleship in engaging all people with the message of Jesus Christ. 'Embracing Kent for Jesus' knowing that the church is not just a place but a people – a new community that is continually being reformed and renewed by the transforming power of the gospel.
We believe that the deepest community comes when we are on mission together as Jesus’ disciples, empowered by the Spirit.
We are deeply committed to building a diverse church that includes many different cultures, languages and age groups, which is expressed in leadership, worship and every area of our lives together. This is not our attempt at being politically correct but because we have a theological conviction that diversity glorifies God more than uniformity.
With obedience to the statutes of God, our church line up with the eternal plans and purposes of God, and this means we must welcome and embrace all people regardless of their ethnicity, culture, diversity, background or age.
Our desire is that here and now on earth we reflect something of heaven and eternity, where there will be, “a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language” (Revelation 7:9).reflects the passion and desire of our heart and mission for this community we live in.
