Everyone is welcome at RCCG Folkestone (Habitation of God’s Love) especially children. Our Children/ Teen Leader is a qualified Social Worker and Teacher who is well grounded in the word of God. She alongside her team of volunteers facilitate trainings which other churches benefit from immensely and there are always special provision and refreshment for children at our Children Church Our Youth Congregation is for 13 and above
On Sundays the children and young people leaving for their own groups geared towards their own ages and needs. These groups are held at the children and youth church and we have people on hand each Sunday to show you where to go. Children and Young People return to join their parents/guardians at the end of the service. You can read more about our children's groups from the well-come pack that your child gets at first visit. On your first visit your child’s group leader will ask you to complete a registration form, so we have all the relevant details about your child to hand.
Don’t worry! This is something most parents worry about and most other people don’t notice. We also encourage you to take your child to their age specific group at the relevant time. If you have a babe in arms it is fine to stand and walk about at the back of the church too or go in to the nursing mother’s room where privacy to feed accordingly is guaranteed.
Again don’t worry! Your child will be well looked after at the Children church. He/ She are in safe hands of the Holy Spirit. Let the little children come unto me, do not cast them for of them is the Kingdom of God.(Matt 19:14).
